Pecole Posted January 25, 2011 Share #1 Posted January 25, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) More of the same : this time, all five ads reproduced were placed by the French Leitz representative Spécialités Tiranty in the prestigious pre-war monthly magazine "L'Illustration". 1. "Leica Couplex, a prodigious invention in photography", so says this ad from 1932. 2. "Only the Leitz' Leica snaps at that speed 3 views in 4 seconds". About the Leica III, in 1933. 3. Leica III and 10x40 Camparit binoculars proposed as "choice gifts" in this 1933 ad. 4. The Leica Standard, 1933. 5. "A small detail that represents a significant progress" is the argument introducing the Leica IIIb in May 1939.
