With this installed, and enabled, I can block, or unblock selectively, all advertisments, so I get a "clean" page. I think it's available for other browsers, too. Probably not, but I think it's something that's going to be increasingly important as a way of disseminating information. Start Page New Design The ads in the left column is gone, on the right column we now have two columns with search box, forum sponsors, classifieds and news. What's your opinion? Better or worse than the current version? What needs improvement? While you’re at it, are you planning to do anything about the original index page - http://www.l-camera-forum.com/index.html ? It is still inviting contributions to the Leica User Forum Book and offering the 2009 Christmas card for sale. I use it as my start page, as I like the way it lists the latest posts in sub-forums and displays random album images. If you get time, I would be pleased to see it updated. I have no objection to the inclusion of Twitter and Facebook on the page, if it is useful to other subscribers, but it is of no interest to me. Your link seems to go to a search results page with no matches and I wouldn’t want to be alerted to all new threads. I prefer the serendipitous and selective nature of the recent threads panel on the index page. It just strikes me as odd that up-to-the-minute information appears alongside obsolete stuff. It doesn’t bother me but I thought I’d point it out in case this Ur-start page had been overlooked. On the other hand, perhaps, it’s a metaphor for Leica cameras - past and present in one successful package. My vote in the poll goes to updating the index page.
