daveleo Posted January 18, 2011 Share #3 Posted January 18, 2011 I like the smeared look and colors very much . . . love the look of the flower in #2 . . . both have a "feminine" (sp?) emotion for the colors and softness . I think #2 could also work as a vertical cropping of the flower & moon.
pauledell Posted January 18, 2011 Share #4 Posted January 18, 2011 Ece, I like the first the most except the white colored rock in the background. If you could artfully clone that out, this would make it nearly perfect with great balance. The second shot is great also and would benefit with the crop to make it a vertical as Dave has suggested. allamande Posted January 19, 2011 Author Share #6 Posted January 19, 2011 Al, Dave, Paul, and Bill, Thank you for looking in and for your thoughts and feedback on these. I appreciate the input very much. The white "rock" in #1 is the dome of the tiny campus observatory, a place I like to visit often, and in this scene I wanted it to echo the moon. But I do see your point that without knowing that, the image would be better without it. Al, before you know it, it'll be in your neck of the woods. In the meantime, you are producing lyrical images of the season, and I am envious too! Ece
