sfmullens Posted January 7, 2011 Share #1 Posted January 7, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am considering a D-Lux5 and I know it comes with Lightroom. However, I prefer to use Aperture. I would want to sell the copy of Lightroom but I read that Lightroom is a downloaded application. That would be very hard to sell. Is that the only way to get LR? Has anyone sold their copy? Thanks, Steve
Advertisement Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Hi sfmullens, Take a look here lightroom. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
richfx Posted January 8, 2011 Share #2 Posted January 8, 2011 Yes, as I too use Aperture and didn't need LR. It is a little complicated, but it can be done with your access code / information for the download. BTW, I inquired and was advised that doing so was perfectly fine. Digitom Posted January 8, 2011 Share #3 Posted January 8, 2011 If one sell the LR also the license must be sold! Together with the cam is the TAN and the serial number if the cam is needed. So if someone sell LR separate from the cam, it is necessary to sell these informations so that the original buyer of the cam cannot download LR also. By the way, I do not know if it is legal to sell a part from a bundle - on the other hand it would be easier for that special situation someone needs no LR to include the progam DVD or CD with the cam as a seperate product. I think this LR download "act" and online license will also push down a later resell value of the camera - some will we sold with, some without license. but that time may occur in about 2 years when D-Lux 6 is launched, and then LR will be in version 4 or 5 already...
