earleygallery Posted January 21, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 21, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I always keep my film in the fridge but I've just bought a pack off e bay which is on its best by date. Will keeping it in the freezer rather than the fridge preserve it for longer or is the temperature of a fridge sufficient?
Advertisement Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 Hi earleygallery, Take a look here storing film. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stunsworth Posted January 21, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 21, 2007 Slap it in the freezer James. Most of what your trying to prevent is a chemical deterioration and that slows down the colder the film.

ron110n Posted January 21, 2007 Share #4 Posted January 21, 2007 I bought a 5 cu ft. ref dedicated for my films and about 3 bottles of chilled Beringer. Darn it in a few days I noticed someone stached soda at the mini ref door compartment. Later I found some coffee creamer and OJ. Argh!@#$%$%^& Of course I don't need all the 5 cu ft. space in my ref. But I'm certain that the uninvited guest will over dominate the primary occupants soon. -Ron
