wudai_e Posted January 3, 2011 Share #1 Posted January 3, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I always wanted a Leica camera, since back in the film days. I remember that's when M6s were going around over 3 grand for the body alone. Being a poor college student, that was a dream I once had: a film Leica + certain lens. Fast forward 7 years, in mid October 2010, I finally summed up the courage and bought a used M8.2 + a Nokton f1.1, thinking that would be IT. How naive... Fast forward 2.5 months, I ended up buying the follownig: Nokton15mm Heliar v2, a used 50mm cron, a used Titanium 35mm lux, and just this morning a used 28mm Elmarit ASPH and a brand new grey M9 Now, sitting here typing, I feel robbed by Leica haha, someone please tell me I'm not going insane with GAS... I can't tell you that because you are going insane (specifically with LAS rather than GAS), We're pretty well all infected here, and there is no hope for you or us. So you might as well enjoy it! chrism Posted January 5, 2011 Share #16 Posted January 5, 2011 Of course you are insane, but at least you will die happy.... My insanity this year was to buy up all the wonderful old manual SLRs that can be had for next to nothing from KEH, and which I couldn't afford when they were new in the 1970's. The Imacon scanner wasn't insanity. My MP's told me I had to do it. Chris

I have the same insanity; over the last 2-3 years I have bought many of the old film cameras that I loved when I was younger but could not afford at the time. I've got 3 curio cabinets full... Does anybody want to buy a Fujica? Regards, Jim
