iphoenix Posted December 31, 2010 Share #1 Posted December 31, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I firstly refer you to the Sticky at the head of the page on Leica Repair specialists. However, surely in Australia and the South Pacific region there is more than one technician capable and trusted to service and repair Screw and early M Leicas? Can anyone please give me your advice? Advertisement Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 Hi iphoenix, Take a look here Repair specialists in Australia and Oceania.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
earleygallery Posted December 31, 2010 Share #2 Posted December 31, 2010 It's not a list of every camera repairer, rather a list of places that people have used and recommended. If you have someone else in mind send the details to Andreas for inclusion.
iphoenix Posted December 31, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted December 31, 2010 Thank you James, however I am making a plea for help. I have tried two people who advertise that they repair Leicas and my experiences have not been good. I am currently using the Leica service agent to CLA an M1, but they will not replace curtains in a 4 digit 1(A)/11 conversion, claiming parts unavailability. I have a couple of other Leicas to be done in the future. I need to find someone other members have found to be good and reliable. All the best for 2011, David
digger1914 Posted January 3, 2011 Share #4 Posted January 3, 2011 You could try Foto Reisel in Sydney. They are a Leica dealer and service older cameras
