saturnales27 Posted January 20, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 20, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum. I do need a 135mm Leica lens for shooting a stage show. Don't know wichone to chose. The 2.8 tele-Elmarit seems a good choice since it's for a relatively lowlight situation. But I guess a Elmar f4 could be fine. Any advice? I'm on a budget (yes it's not a good idea not to have a lot of money when using Leica, but that's the case here) Must not pay more thant 350$ (that's really the top) for a good user. If you have ideas or even a lens for me, please say something!!! Yours, JFN
Advertisement Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Hi saturnales27, Take a look here What kind 135mm to use in that case ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
cbretteville Posted January 21, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 21, 2007 For your use I'd look for a goggled elmarit as focusing will be easier. That said I own a Tele-Elmar which is a great lens and you should be able to find one at a good price. Mine is from 1973 and it looks brand new. If you'll be able to find one within you budget I can't say. - C
