Advertisement Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Hi petert531, Take a look here Day at the toboggan Hill . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted January 21, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 21, 2007 Peter - Fun images well executed. I like the crops and lighting in all. I also like your story telling collection approach and find it works well here as well as with your models. As in the past I'd like a link to see the images full screen size. Also, it's nice to see that you do get out of your studio other than driving back and forth from work.
petert531 Posted January 21, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted January 21, 2007 Thanks. NOt sure how to link pix here. I don't have a website or anything. I think this sort of thinks better in a story. I try to see 'stories' now. When I show my mentor my pix, like HCB he always wants to see contact sheets (now digital equivalent) to see how things develop. It's one thing to get a single good image, but another to have multiple or see the process how you got there. If you work at Magnum etc they aren't interested in a a photog who gets lucking 1 in a 1000 times, they want to know you can nail it each time out and come away with something special. That's what is often meant when I refer to 'levels'... Peter

abrewer Posted January 21, 2007 Share #5 Posted January 21, 2007 Very nice composite Peter. I'm sure your family loves having you around for the perks like this! Just being flip here...but I opened this thread expecting a nude man riding downhill on a garbage can lid with nothing but a trailing wool scarf around his neck! Thanks.
