wda Posted January 20, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 20, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) A recent road journey to Telford in attrocious weather which brought us to a halt on the M5 south of Birmingham. A muliple pile-up ahead caused a 40minute stand-still on all lanes. A grab shot, almost blind, through the windscreen with my Lumix FX-7 with Leica Vario-Elmarit lens. martinop Posted January 20, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 20, 2007 Enjoyable composition. Like the effect of the view through the wet windshield + inclusion of the GPS screen on the dashboard..

wda Posted January 21, 2007 Author Share #4 Posted January 21, 2007 Paul and Daniel, thank you for your kind remarks. It is amazing how a mundane subject can be attractive in its own way. David
stuny Posted January 21, 2007 Share #5 Posted January 21, 2007 David - Great idea to pass some of the lost time by employing your photo hobby. Nicely seen and executed, and as Paul mentions, including the GPS in clear focus greatly adds to the composition.

You are so right: fortunately I try to avoid rush hours but on some trips you have no control. So a handy compact can help relieve the tedium of being stuck in traffic for hours!
