Advertisement Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 Hi daveleo, Take a look here Spinning wheel. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pauledell Posted December 16, 2010 Share #2 Posted December 16, 2010 Dave, I like the colors of the wood that makes this feel like a vintage shot (even though it would be fine in b&w). I also like the rest of the setting of the room. Nice composition and clarity also. Just imagine if we still had to depend on this technology to make our clothes. stuny Posted December 17, 2010 Share #3 Posted December 17, 2010 Dave - Lovely light, color and composition. I'd like to see it sharpened some. I had read somewhere that Shakers did not belive in having sex, which would seem to limit their ability to continue their beliefs beyond a then current generation, and those others they could convert. daveleo Posted December 17, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted December 17, 2010 thanks for the comments. I had too much time on my hands and overworked the photo. here's a version with less Gimping on my part . . . I also added two other Shaker Village photos to my "miscellaneous" album: http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/members/16667-albums4100.html
