daveleo Posted December 16, 2010 Share #3 Posted December 16, 2010 A very classy car (whatever it is ?), and your photo treats it very well. Getting shots like this at car shows it too tough.

tobey bilek Posted January 31, 2011 Share #6 Posted January 31, 2011 The car in the back is a Ford Mainliner, 1949 to 1952 or so. It was a bottom of the line vehicle. Really do not recognize the car in front. B/4 my time being only 68. If I were younger, I could identify it by the hub caps. I am told I could do that when still in a baby stroller. I would take a guess at a Packard. I`ll check the Packard site. http://www.packardclub.org/pics/hood-orn-040.jpg Other similar ones on the site. So yes that is my official answer. Take it back now I can both together. Does look like a Jaguar hood ornament. Got it finally 1935 Ford Pheaton http://www.remarkablecars.com/for-sale/1935-cars/p17289-1935-ford-model-48-phaeton-for-sale.html Now i can sleep tonight
