biglouis Posted January 19, 2007 Share #1  Posted January 19, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Stark contrast between the 70s minimalist approach and the noughties embellished approach to architecture. I actually think the building on the left makes the facade on the right look like a classic.  Panasonic FX-01 Leica DMC Vario Elmarit

ECliffordSmith Posted January 22, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted January 22, 2007 Louis, Â I like the contrast between the two buildings too. Well framed and very sharp. Â Where is the location please?
samwells Posted January 22, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted January 22, 2007 Yes, interesting contrast. I'd agree that the classic minimalism of the 70s building somehow makes the newer one look kinda cheap...I wonder which one will be torn down first. Thanx for showing. cheers: Sam
biglouis Posted January 23, 2007 Author Share #4  Posted January 23, 2007 Ed and Sam  These buildings are both on London Wall, on the south side. Sam, I was searching for the right adjective for the newer building and 'kinda cheap' is spot on. Sadly, I suspect the older one will be the first to go.  Thanks for your comments  LouisB
