The latest one had been sold on august 17th. to buyer spixii2009 for $1,699.00. His feedback was positive. Juergen
Advertisement Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Hi juergen, Take a look here Leica Binocular ???. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wlaidlaw Posted December 17, 2010 Share #22 Posted December 17, 2010 Leica certainly changed all camera stuff to black and silver boxes some years ago. These binocs are in a white box, so I suspect quite old stock. It never fails to amaze me how long some camera dealers are prepared to keep stock. I bought a brand new 135/4 Tele-Elmarit (the detachable head model), which must have been well over 20 years old and it was still in its sealed factory poly bag. I recently got a brand new Minolta zoom tele lens for my son to use on his Sony Alpha 350, which must have been 6 or 7 years old. Their accountants should tell them to move these items on, even at a good discount and get the cash in their bank. I saw a dealer last year in the far east, who still had a boxed millennium edition titanium finish Contax G2 and 3 lens (28, 45 and 90) plus flash set new in his window, gathering dust. He still wanted full dollar for it. Wilson
pgk Posted December 17, 2010 Share #23 Posted December 17, 2010 I've haven't dealt with this shop but they've been going for a bit and might be worth checking out here as they are offering a pair of 10x42BA Trinovids @ £675 described as mint.
