On Sunday the 5th of December between 12:00 and 16:00 I will be at London Camera Exchange in Guildford.

 

I will be showing a copy of the Leica User Forum Charity Book, with the slide show story of its creation running in background on a laptop. I'll be talking about how the team put it all together and promoting the auction for a signed copy of the book (Leica Book Auction).

 

People will be able to order the Book online in the shop.

 

The Leica agent will be on hand to show off the M9 and to answer questions about Leica products.

 

LCE will be offering special trade-up deals on the day for anyone with an M8 wishing to trade up to an M9.

 

All are welcome; Guildford itself is a photogenic town and a bit of a shoppers' paradise. The address is 8 Tunsgate, Guildford, Surrey GU1 3QT.

 

It would be great to see some people there on the day, particularly if you haven't bought the book yet! :D

No problem at all, Pete. A couple of people dropped in and introduced themselves as forum members, and LCE and Leica shifted a couple of V-Lux 2s on the day. I got a promise from a couple of people to buy the book, and more importantly some serious interest for it to be more widespread in the dealer network. All in all a rewarding day all 'round :D
