Advertisement Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Hi kuddel, Take a look here Clouds over the lake. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jmr Posted January 17, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 17, 2007 Andreas, a strong landscape. I think it would also work as a more extreme panorama - if you cropped down from the top to force attention onto the lower clouds, the mountains and the bridge. kuddel Posted January 18, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted January 18, 2007 John, thank you very much for your comment. I see want you mean. In addition, today it seems a little too reddish to me and contrast on the lower part is to low. Three good reasons to process the picture again. Greetings, Andreas
M'Ate Posted January 18, 2007 Share #4 Posted January 18, 2007 Dr Andreas, I've looked at this a few times and wondered what can make it work better imo. I see two quite seperate pics here. The sky and mountains are spectacular, but spoilt by the heavy weighting of that bank of cloud. I hope you can return when the clouds are heavy at the top. In the lower half there is a fine picture of a bridge to be had. From the back of the train to the red out building and from the mountains down to you immediate foreground works for me. Principally making a picture of a bridge with a train in fine scenery, if you get my meaning ? Slow the shutter speed and let the train blur. You can't get that from the frame you show and retain the quality, I suspect. Just my 2ç. regards,
kuddel Posted January 19, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted January 19, 2007 M'Ate, thank you for your opinion and advice. I do not have the possibility to take that picture again, but I did a second try on that one I have. Sure, it lost quality. Andreas
