Hi there. I have put an add in the wanted section but in case there is no joy does anyone know where I can get one of these. I was using it on an older borrowed M8 while mine was getting repaired at Leica (12 weeks!!!) and the lens/ring fitted well on that camera but there is no way that it fits on my returned camera now. Maybe that the lens mount is tighter as it's newer. I had milled and coded it so it was giving great colour results and came up as a 21mm on the borrowed camera. Now I have put a Voigtlander mount ring on it can't be coded and I'm back to a colour cast in the corners. Hope that all makes sense and any help appreciated. Regards... Robin. Ps. Should have mentioned. I have tried all the usual dealers and all say that the only ones around have a cut out in the ring where the paint dot needs to go so are unsuitable.

What does that mean? Why doesn't it fit? It's the proper piece.

It looks as if the bottom part has a dent or twist, but it doesn't make sense that it worked before the camera was fixed but doesn't work now.

Consider asking Leica about it. I doubt they repair screw-to-bayonet adapters, but they may.

Otherwise, contact John Milich. He might be able to repair it, and will certainly be able to produce a replacement.

Check on this: I'm not sure, but I think I read that the current Voigtländer adapters again have the full width to allow coding.

Good luck.

Edit--Robin, I see Mike popped in while I was thinking. I'm still curious why your adapter no longer works, but the main thing is obviously that you get the problem taken care of. :o

The current Type II Voigtländer adapter is what you need if you want to add coding. It is available from dealers or sometimes on eBay.
