stuny Posted January 15, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 15, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) We were motoring between reefs in PNG for our next drive and Barbara was enjoying the sun, wind and the sometimes visit from pods of dolphines. I sat in the shade and caught some details. The bow pennant used to be a skull and crossbones, but some Yank divers replaced it with this one. Advertisement Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 Hi stuny, Take a look here Telita Details (3 images). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
neila Posted January 15, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 15, 2007 Stu, you're having way too much fun. At least from my perspective sitting in my London office!
stuny Posted January 15, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted January 15, 2007 Neil - Thank you, but I don't get to drive any of those wonderful toys you have (one of which Ford discontinued production).
neila Posted January 16, 2007 Share #4 Posted January 16, 2007 As with most things in life, you'd sometimes trade one for another....! Your recent series of posts have been superb - really very enjoyable - and shows what is achievable. I've only managed a few snaps with my M8, but seeing the photographs of others is very encouraging. Once the spring rolls around I hope to get some nice shots of either my cars, or others - right now the weather is awful here. So I'd trade you! Yes the GT is out of production - seems a shame for a world class car that stole the front covers of most motoring magazines. However it's quite nice to have a motoring 'moment' in the garage. msr Posted January 16, 2007 Share #5 Posted January 16, 2007 Stuart, I am curious as to how you are able to post images to this forum from such remote locations. Do you have a laptop & satellite phone or is it something else? Malcolm
stuny Posted January 16, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted January 16, 2007 Neil - Thank you, and I look forward to seeing M8 photos of the residents of your stable. Malcolm - Thank you for your kind words. We don't actually post to the Forum while away for many practical reasons. By the way: I was just about to include the URL for your site, when it struck me that perhaps you don't want it so widely known. I encourage you to post it -- I really like what I see there, and I'm certain other Forum members wuold like it to.
