Advertisement Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Hi pauledell, Take a look here Autumn Fungi II. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Ernstblofeld Posted October 27, 2010 Share #2 Posted October 27, 2010 Very nice Paul. I actually prefer this photo than the previous fungi one. And you could also try B&W for an Ansel Adams look! Kind regards Ernstblofeld

Ernstblofeld Posted October 27, 2010 Share #4 Posted October 27, 2010 It does look like an Ansel Adams photo! Very very nice. Thanks. Ernstblofeld
daveleo Posted October 27, 2010 Share #5 Posted October 27, 2010 Paul, a pleasing shot, and again, I have to go for the color version (which is more muted than the previous one). I think a square cropping would work nicely as well.
George James Posted October 27, 2010 Share #6 Posted October 27, 2010 Paul, Very nice shot, I prefer the colour version.
clinchico Posted October 27, 2010 Share #7 Posted October 27, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Paul Two more nice images. These ones are even better than the first set. I am again torn between colour or b&w. This time I am going for the b&w for its stronger detail and richness in tones. Herb
pauledell Posted October 28, 2010 Author Share #8 Posted October 28, 2010 Ernst, Dave, George and Herb, Thanks for your critiques. I have to favor the color version but am quite satisfied with the b&w picture. Paul

pauledell Posted October 29, 2010 Author Share #12 Posted October 29, 2010 Virgil, Thanks for pointing this out to me. A little touch of dpp'ing and they are gone. Paul
Bob Jackson Posted October 31, 2010 Share #13 Posted October 31, 2010 Excellent photo Paul. Went for a run in the woods today, we're just about to turn the corner here in Indiana straight into winter, little gems like this are a treat.
pauledell Posted October 31, 2010 Author Share #14 Posted October 31, 2010 Bob, Thanks. Yes soon we will have a drab grey landscape until the snow arrives. You usually have a lot more snow in NW Indiana than we do here in the NE corner which will make some opportunities for great photography.
