pauledell Posted October 24, 2010 Share #2 Â Posted October 24, 2010 Philipp, Â An extremely complex composition in which I'm somewhat puzzled by the patterns, trying to understand what are leaves and which are shadows. I assume the sunlight is at a sharply acute angle. Lovely colors and sharpness as well as a mind game. Â Paul
pop Posted October 25, 2010 Author Share #3 Â Posted October 25, 2010 Paul, thank you very much for your charming comment. Â The image depicts a trough which is filled with water at a height of not quite a foot, I think. Some of the leaves are floating such as the bright large one with the droplets on top. Others have sunk and now are lying at the bottom. The sun is shining from the right side from an elevation of some 45 degrees as you can observe by the shadows on the wall of the trough which faces us.
