I also asked on another forum, where the responses were very helpful but I still cannot figure it out??? I understand that an e-mail should be sent to me with a LR serial#. Any help would be appreciated . I am using a Mac,could that be the problem? Thanks. Adam
Advertisement Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Hi Adam14, Take a look here Need Help to Download Free LR3. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Shootist Posted October 24, 2010 Share #2 Posted October 24, 2010 Did you get a email from Leica? Does it contain a link to the download page for LR3? I haven't been through this but the email might only contain the serial # for the LR3 download. In that case there is a link on the finishing registration page to get the download. Go back to the Leica website and look for the download link. All of this is dependent on whether or not you got a email confirming your registration and including the serial # for LR3. If you didn't get a email then you did something wrong. Like entering the wrong or invalid email address. It only take one miss typed character for the your email to be invalid. There should be a area on the Leica owner site to change your email address. Make sure you use, type in, a valid address. I have only heard of one other person that has had a problem getting the email and that was because of a invalid email address. Here is the thread. It was in the customer forum. http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/customer-forum/147190-registion-problem.html
andybarton Posted October 24, 2010 Share #3 Posted October 24, 2010 It won't make any difference that you use a Mac.
wattsy Posted October 24, 2010 Share #4 Posted October 24, 2010 If you haven't already done so you can download the same LR3.2 software direct from Adobe. It will work (as a trial but without any limitations) without the serial number for 30 days. This will let you use the software whilst you wait for Leica to sort out your serial number. Adam14 Posted October 24, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted October 24, 2010 Thanks very much for your replies! Much appreciated. My e-mail is correct because I received an e-mail from Leica where I had to click on the link to confirm registration. Thanks for the suggestion to try LR3 for 30 days. I had already done that. Adam14 Posted October 31, 2010 Author Share #8 Posted October 31, 2010 Somehow,I was incorrectly registering my D-Lux5 and the page which would allow me to download LR3 was not loading. They deleted my attempts and input the info correctly. I downloaded LR and received an e-mail with the serial number. Adam
