drdannn Posted October 21, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted October 21, 2010 Hi Stuart. Hi Paul. Yep I've been away for awhile. Thanks for missing me. . I'm taking out my cameras more now. Thanks for the comments on the photo. It was dusk, against the sunlight. I would have liked the bird to be sharper too, but oh well, I do not know how to PP sharpen the bird only without sharpening the rest too. clinchico Posted October 22, 2010 Share #5 Posted October 22, 2010 Dan It is nice to see posting again. Nice reflection of the light on the ripples of the water. Shooting at dusk and the subject is moving is not easy. Herb
allamande Posted October 22, 2010 Share #6 Posted October 22, 2010 The dipping sunlight on the ripples makes it outstanding for me. Ece
drdannn Posted October 27, 2010 Author Share #7 Posted October 27, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi Herb, It took me awhile to get this photo. There were many groups of birds floating around at dusk, but I wanted to get a photo with just one bird, trailed by a wake. Thanks for noticing and commenting. Hope all is well, Dan
drdannn Posted October 27, 2010 Author Share #8 Posted October 27, 2010 Dear Ece, I am happy you commented on the ripples. That is just what I was trying to get , the feeling of that in the photo. When you commented on that specifically I knew I got what I wanted. Thanks. Dan
