phancj Posted October 15, 2010 Share #1 Posted October 15, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Read so much about the Digilux IQ, and saw many phenomenal photos posted. I recall my elder brother has one stashed in disuse so asked him for it. Now I have it and found that is doesnt power on. Hmmm....is there an avenue for repair for such an ancient camera? Advertisement Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Hi phancj, Take a look here panasonic DMC-LC1 repair possible?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted October 15, 2010 Share #2 Posted October 15, 2010 CJ - Is it safe to assume you fully charged the battery? the issue may even be that the old battery can no longer be charged. Panasonic does have repari facilities. In the case of the US (which does not do you much good 20,000 km away) they outsource replairs to an organization in Chicago. Hey Stuart, Thanks! yes I did charge the battery. Will call Panasonic here and see what they say. I hope they do not rip me off with repair charges. So sad having my enthusiasm quashed with such an incident, the camera looks hardly used, as my elder brother buys a lot of gear on impulse haha.....
