elansprint72 Posted January 13, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 13, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Apologies about the lighting, it was the usual mix of sodium, tungsten and daylight ; these rare beasts were in the Coys auction at the NEC Birmingham UK. A person with better PS skills could probably make something better of them. Cheers, Pete.
Advertisement Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Hi elansprint72, Take a look here For Ferrari fans only. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
steed Posted January 13, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 13, 2007 Beautifully composed! Even though I was a Ford GT freak, and it was easy to root for the underdog Chapparrals (they always broke down), the P4 Ferrari was prettiest to stare at on the magazine pages. Thanks for these great images. Regards John W

elansprint72 Posted January 14, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted January 14, 2007 Thanks guys. Imants, I know .... I'm really a B&W photographer: this colour thing will never catch on. That carpet was seriously orange though! It is much harder to fall from a Ferrari than from a Ducati Cheers, Pete.
biglouis Posted January 14, 2007 Share #6 Posted January 14, 2007 Is it me or is #19 designed so you can position your vehicle so it exactly straddles the white line in the middle of the road? Very clear captures of highly desirable objects! What equipment did you use? LouisB

elansprint72 Posted January 15, 2007 Author Share #10 Posted January 15, 2007 I'm packing my Huge APO R lenses and making the trip to Maranello later in the week, hopefully I should have some shots of the 53rd Ferrari F1 car to post (testing permitting) Don't forget to post them here! Hope you have a smooth flight, though looking st the forecast Wednesday onwards I doubt it! I suspected that the P4 type car was a replica, and that turned out to be the case (I'm sure the front section should be rivetted alluminium, not glass fibre ), guide price was still 70k GBP, a real one would be 1m+, I guess. Cheers, Pete.
