Advertisement Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Hi JeTexas, Take a look here Sailing toward sunset. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pauledell Posted October 7, 2010 Share #2 Posted October 7, 2010 JE, Excellent composition, the lovely soft light and wonderful colors and the clarity. A wonderful picture. Paul
stuny Posted October 8, 2010 Share #3 Posted October 8, 2010 JeT - I hope you don't mind. I feel the shot is stronger with the horizon leveled, which I did by rotating one degree to the right. While I was at it I iteratively increased shadow and highlight sliders to add drama. This may have been at the cost of reducing mood.
JeTexas Posted October 8, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted October 8, 2010 I like it Stuart. My original posting was a jpg straight out of the camera. While I liked it, it still felt a little "hotel art." I'll have to revisit that set and see if I can pump up the drama in them.
Karl-Albert Posted October 10, 2010 Share #5 Posted October 10, 2010 I rather prefer the colours of the first one with the corrected horizon of the second one, both photos are excellent.
