Ivar B Posted January 13, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 13, 2007 Any members can get this to work? I put in my serial number and nothing happens. Any suggestion? Thanks I just tested it as I sent an M4 Black Paint for service some days ago, and it worked perfectly. It has also worked well before. Are you positive that your equipment actually has been received?
jamriman Posted January 13, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted January 13, 2007 No, not positive but after I enter the serial number, nothing happens. No message stating whether it was accepted or not. Thanks.
marknorton Posted January 13, 2007 Share #4 Posted January 13, 2007 Better to put in the Service Order number which you get in an email acknowledgment of receipt by Leica. If you haven't received this email, Leica may not have received the item for repair yet.
jamriman Posted January 13, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted January 13, 2007 I tried that also. How would leica know my email address? There's no parameter to put in an email address. What am I missing? Thanks
Guest flatfour Posted January 13, 2007 Share #6 Posted January 13, 2007 It only works for items sent direct to Solms. If you send it via a service dept. it is not recorded. I had the same trouble. This was the explanation given to me by Leica UK.
gautier Posted January 13, 2007 Share #7 Posted January 13, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) This service requires Internet Explorer 6 With my Mac, nothing happens with Safari, FireFox or an old IE 5. With a PC and IE 6, the same request works.
