ptarmigan Posted September 14, 2010 Share #1 Posted September 14, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just picked up a nice specimen s/h and I was wondering. I have two other lenses, both 6 bit, and so typically leave the M8 on lens detect & UV-IR. Will that cause me any problems with the Elmarit which is not 6 bit coded? Also, what if any issues will I find with CA/colour shift and if so how is it best to rectify them?
Advertisement Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Hi ptarmigan, Take a look here Leica 28mm Elmarit v3. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted September 14, 2010 Share #2 Posted September 14, 2010 No, it won't but the uncoded lens will show some color drift to the edges. it might get picked up as a 90 mm lens by the camera though. Best to get it coded as well. Or get into Cornerfix.
