Advertisement Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Hi Peyton Hoge, Take a look here "The Day The Music Died". I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted January 10, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted January 10, 2007 Peyton - Â Yes, Bye, bye Miss American Pie... Very poignant with excellent angle and tonal range. I liked Tower for its broad selection, if not its prices. I wonder if the latter contributed to its failure.
garyp Posted January 10, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted January 10, 2007 Nice photo Peyton....and there were some interesting characters who worked in this particular Tower at one time. It'll all be missed
Peyton Hoge Posted January 10, 2007 Author Share #4 Â Posted January 10, 2007 Thank you Stuart & Gary. Yes, Tower was the only place with a huge selection and the employees knew their "stuff". It was a great place to spend time. It is a fact that the internet is probably what contributed to it's closure. More & more music is being bought on line, and it is continuing to grow. This is the wave of the future. Sad but true.
