Just one comment , what is that Arch shape/reflection which repeats itself from left to right across the frame in the distant hills? regards Andy
Guest flatfour Posted January 9, 2007 Share #3 Posted January 9, 2007 Andy. They are a series of wide gullies off the moor down which the rain pours in torrents. They almost look man-made from the hotel where I was standing.
elansprint72 Posted January 10, 2007 Share #4 Posted January 10, 2007 But the same pattern is in the clouds and there appears to be a face over the first white house on the left:confused:
andybarton Posted January 10, 2007 Share #5 Posted January 10, 2007 I see them too. They almost look like marks made by a roller. Pity.

Guest flatfour Posted January 11, 2007 Share #7 Posted January 11, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I think you are right. I scanned this ages ago so I'm going to have a look at the neg and do another scan. It may be that I lightened or darkened it. However I do have another shot which clearly shows the regular gullies down the side of the moor.
stuny Posted January 11, 2007 Share #8 Posted January 11, 2007 Anthony - The flat ridge above the flat land with low buildings combines with the relative darkness to produce a most unsettling mood. Well done.
