elansprint72 Posted January 8, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 8, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) .... this foul weather has grounded me too, so I've been sorting out and archiving last season's shots; also I got my invitation to Le Mans through today so I'm feeling happy! Here are a few from the Oulton Park Gold Cup 06 which was attended by myself, Earl Stunsworth of Wigan and My Lord Barton. Rather annoyingly "the beginners" got the best shots. Apologies to those who do not like car shots but we did hold a poll which voted in favour of a separate cars forum. Cheers, Pete. 20k more where these came from! stunsworth Posted January 8, 2007 Share #3 Posted January 8, 2007 Jelaousy is a terrible emotion :-) Last summer I was driving back from near Nantes to Paris on the back roads and went though Le Mans. I was wondering why there were so many people about - some seemed to be camping at the side of the road - and why there seemed to be grandstands on the next road, when I put one and one together. Turned out it was one of the practice days :-)

elansprint72 Posted January 8, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted January 8, 2007 Stuart, Thanks, #2 is a lightweight E-type Jaguar (same car in #3), there seem to be many more of these now than there were in the 60s. Cheers, Pete.
