I just picked up a small silver leica soft release for $15. USD. Is that a good deal? What do they usually go for? I know it's a lame question but thanx for your input anyway. Cheers! The regular release technique -- one part of the finger pad on the button, one part on the surrounding ring -- gives a control of the release that is vastly superior to any screw-in softie.
