stuny Posted September 1, 2010 Share #2 Posted September 1, 2010 Howard - A nice series. In descending order of preference, 2, 3, 1.
soleforeal Posted September 1, 2010 Share #3 Posted September 1, 2010 I enjoyed number two.
pauledell Posted September 2, 2010 Share #4 Posted September 2, 2010 Howard, I agree with Stuart and Solereal. No.2 is my favorite also. Great composition with the shoreline, the reflections and the dock. Great tones and clarity. Paul
}{B Posted September 2, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted September 2, 2010 I agree. No1 & 3 are a bit stark while no 2 has a better range of tones and shows the fishing line to better effect. I had a cheap scan made at the time of processing and these three looked to be unuseable but once my scanner was back from repair it was suprising how much detail was revealed with a better scan and a bit of adjustment in Lightroom. I don't use the 90mm much and I wanted to see how it coped with the sun only just being out of the frame.

kkochheiser Posted September 11, 2010 Share #8 Posted September 11, 2010 I like #2 best as well but I like them all. Well done. There is kind of a "stalker" feel to the sequence though
}{B Posted September 12, 2010 Author Share #9 Posted September 12, 2010 I like #2 best as well but I like them all. Well done. There is kind of a "stalker" feel to the sequence though When you are photographing someone you don't know and you also want to make sure they are not aware of your presence then the analogy of the hunter and the hunted is quite apt.
