Es geht um das Elmarit-M 2,8/ 28 Version 1 und Version 2:

WIKI:

- Version 1 : nur in Wetzlar gebaut

- Version 2 : nur in Canada produziert

höchst wahrscheinlich den gleichen optischen Aufbau wie Version 1

James L. Lager:

- Version 1 ab 1965: 9 Linsen

meisten aus Canada, aber auch aus Wetzlar

- Version 2 ab 1969: 8 Linsen

kurzer Stutzen, damit geeignet für M5, CL, M6

unter Nr2314921 nur nach Modifikation für M5, CL, M6 geeignet

Lager is right : the 9 elements version 1 was made both in Wetzlar and Ontario ; very simple to verify with a bit of patience... if one looks at what is offered for sale on the Net (both ebay and dealers) , you can find both versions (identical, apart the Country specification on the front ring). Serial numbers look "intermixed"... but I have never found a detailed figure on the respective production quantities... in general, the Wetzlars are considered "scarcer".
