I had the x1 versus dslr thread a week ago and I finally decided. I purchased the X1. I will wait to get a dslr after I decide what my needs are.

 

I purchased from pop flash and this is my 3rd purchase from Tony. Believe me.... they are the best to deal with for Leica gear.

 

Battery is charging and I have a weekend in Chicago for Cubs game tomorrow (please don't respond to their demise).

 

Thanks for all the info. and can't wait to try it out. Also, I bought the grip and thumbs up to try. So far the thumbs up seems like a winner while keeping it small.

Tony and Alex are awesome. They took so much time to answer all my questions and they never pushed me for a sale. I would never buy another Leica from anyone else. In fact I checked their website for 3 weeks waiting to get an X1 in. When I saw it i called and purchased it.
