Advertisement Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Hi bmc, Take a look here neither nature or wildlife x2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted August 20, 2010 Share #2 Posted August 20, 2010 B - Beautiful subject, light, color and composition, particularly #1. However, I think #1 could benefit from some sharpening of her head.
bmc Posted August 20, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted August 20, 2010 is this better? i had sharpened her head on the first one. ive got something going on when i export from aperture nothing looks as good online as it does on my computer. looks exactly the same as the first one. i totally sharpened the head, actually to a point that i thought did not look natural just to see if there would be a difference. something weird with the way i export or my settings im sure. oh well. thanks for the comments anyway. pauledell Posted August 20, 2010 Share #4 Posted August 20, 2010 Nice pictures especially the first one after you sharpened it. Dark dogs are always difficult to photograph well, but your silhouette shot is wonderful. The second shot is also very good. How did you train her to set on the rail? Paul just taught her sit on the ground first, all from when she was 7 weeks old as a pup with positive reinforcement (treats, ball, something she wanted). she's been exposed to many different places to sit and stay, shell sit anyplace i tell her, but on this evening she posted up on the rail and watched the boats and people pass by the harbor as the sun set. i'd be cheating if i didnt tell you it's what i do for a living.
