milsu Posted January 6, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 6, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) MP Lux 50 asph Fuji Superia 100 1.4 1/125 Few hours before the beginning of 3rd Belgrade Tango Festival final evening. I noticed this woman was extremely photogenic. She was standing with her child, like they were waiting for someone to come. So, I sat some two meters beside her, and put my camera on face, ready to take a photo when she turns. But, she suddenly turned so quickly and moved towards me, that I didn't have a time to re-focus, so focus stayed a little behind her. But, I think a little softness is good here, she looks like being in deep thoughts. Her hair flyes because of her move, there was no wind. And, I had a strong feeling she moved with intention to pose me.

stuny Posted January 6, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 6, 2007 Milos - A agree that the focus still works, partly because of the implied motion. Very nice framing and bokeh.
milsu Posted January 7, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted January 7, 2007 Thanks, Stuart! Auto focus wouldn't have been of much help in this situation, too. Best, Milos
