LR - Chronosync - backup

I use chronosync to back up my picture folders on my mac - but I can't get it to select the LR catalogue file (so I can't get Chronosync to copy it at all). The file is opaque whereas the files I can copy look normal. I can't find any settings that seem to affect that. and when I view the file in Finder it looks normal, not opaque. LR is not operative at the time.

Is there a way of copying it with Chronosync please?! Thanks.

Something fishy here....

I use Chronosync for all my 3 levels of backup, to different HD´s and with different ´documents´ controlling the backup procedure. None of them have ever had any problem with the catalogue file (or with any other file, for that matter).

Only thing I can think of is that if you have upgraded from LR2 to LR3, this has produced a new catalogue with a different name, so all Chronosync documents must be upgraded to catch the new catalogue. And, if you have subsequently trashed the old catalogue without removing it from the Chronosync document, it will indeed be grayed out there. But it should certainly see, and allow you to select, the new catalogue.

Thanks. I've found a solution now but not an answer... I can select the folder in which the catalogue is located, and that is copied fine. But looking at the source contents, some files can be selected, and some can't - changing the name of the file to say .jpg doesn't help (I thought it might).
