}{B Posted July 30, 2010 Share #1 Posted July 30, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Leica M4P & Zeiss 50mm F2 Planar - Fuji Sensia ISO 100 Last Saturday I went to the Farnborough air show and took the opportunity of trying out my new Zeiss lens. For taking photos of the aircraft in flight it would have been better to have taken my Olympus DSLR with it's zoom lenses but I wanted to use one of my Leicas and for the static aircraft and the crowd I didn't need a lens longer than 90mm. For those who want to see more here is a link to my web site. You will need Flash Player installed to view it and there are 26 images showing for 5 seconds each. I make no claim that these are wonderful shots. The scan was done by the lab when the slides were processed. The majority are taken with the Zeiss. }{B Posted July 31, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted July 31, 2010 Thanks for your comments I'm glad you like the shots. I used the Zeiss Planar for some shots when perhaps it would have been better to have switched to my 35mm Summicron to get more of the aircraft in however I wanted to play with my new 'toy' and so I did the best I could with the 50mm.
