We are currently refining the requirements. If a 50mm lens must be used, I'll have the first post modified.

Two thoughts...

1. It might be worth putting a hold on entries until this (basic) point is finalised.

2. In the event it might prove to be too restrictive... An alternative suggestion would be 35-50-90 only - you could then call the book "Trinity"...

Regards,

Bill

Feel free to weigh in -- anyone, anyone?

We have a proposal for:

1. Leica body

2. Leica 50mm lens

3. b/w images only.

let's have some responses to this proposal.

Titles could be:

"Many Eyes, One Lens"

"Many Eyes, x 50's" (where x = the number od distinct 50mm lenses used)

Vote early and often

I second that.

I could see the sense of a choice of the 50mm lens, since it is so common.

If, however, we restrict to the 35-to-90 range, we might do serious damage to the landscape section.

How about if we say Leica body and any Leica lens?

Bill, my advice would be to decide what the rules are and let everyone know them, otherwise you will find yourself going round in circles.

Great minds ....

Steve, I was just preparing to post that we'd stick by the rules in post #1:

Leica body and lens

Post your pic.

We can decide later about the book size.

This is a book by committee. Great idea, but what on earth are the rules now? They keep changing. Could we perhaps have ONE post outlining the FINAL requirements with a link?
