Flamez, welcome to the forum and Leica ownership!

Two highly challenging subjects and backgrounds which have come out really well. I think both would be even better with further tweaks in Lightroom to brighten some of the tones.. Are you using a calibrated monitor? Now I look forward to seeing some fine X1 landscapes of the Gower coastline!

Love this camera. I know nothing about photography but the x1 just delivers! Now a Leica fan :)

Here's a grab shot from Newcastle Central Station, late on Friday afternoon. Kept the ISO to 200 and prayed for a steady hand. Converted to mono with Silver efex Pro 2:

A challenging subject, against the light with dark foreground objects. Do not be afraid of using ISO settings above 200 with the X1. You could probably retrieve more detail in the shadows, provided you shot raw files.

A fine indoor portrait in available light.

if it's to me , thanks sir .

I was really amazed when I saw the result of that shot , it's one of the shots that hoked me on to this little jewel .

Numbers 1 & 3 for me. Lovely light. Not quite so sure about # 2 - but that's probably because 1 & 3 are so good! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks , yes I liked the pattern change on the floor with the shoes , but I agree the others are better .

JB - a Beautiful shot. However, I have removed your oversized image and replaced it with one that complies with Forum rules (no side larger than 960 pixels). In the future please abide by the rules.
