jaay Posted July 24, 2010 Share #1 Posted July 24, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) i have been using capture one 5 for my raw conversions but find the lack of selective exposure control to be problematic at times. Photoshop cs4 can add grad NDs to my RAW files and even has the option to save the output as a DNG - but when i save the DNG after applying changes to the image when i then load the new DNG in C1 all the changes are gone! Does anyone know a way around this? I understand that the new Camera RAW 6.1 in LR3 and CS5 i much improved over version 5 - is it good enough on M9 DNG's to use instead of C1? thanks. jaapv Posted July 24, 2010 Share #2 Posted July 24, 2010 ACR 6 may well outperform C1.
chris_tribble Posted July 24, 2010 Share #3 Posted July 24, 2010 My personal preference is for Adobe Camera Raw used via Lightroom - this gives me the best workflow and LR3 is a huge improvement over LR2. I know that others swear by Aperture...
