I remember when I found that my Canon battery charger was lost and asked for its price, the humble $48 price tag was already too much to me. Now Leica smokes it. I think both the functional designs are basically the same. Same simple little device to charge a little battery and stop charging it when it's full. That Canon one even has a bigger indicator light that changes colours to tell us the battery has been fully charged... Another good example for Leica overpricing their products. (My spare battery is made under another make. I just can't afford the Leica one at about 90 bucks!) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Premium for the camera,I get it... but this price on a charger, good grief. yup, when I broke the lens cap (lucky me actually, the camera fell to the ground and broke only the lens cap, rest of camera unharmed... replacement was $30, ridiculous!
