leicamann Posted July 10, 2006 Share #2  Posted July 10, 2006 Arthur,,having almost grown up in this area..and now I can tell you justly..the images lean way too much on the cyan side. Rarely did I or do I see this water being blue..rather its its"greeness and the kelp beds " that are striking. So great shot...careful the drop off and the traffic   Thanks for sharing  Cheers, JRM
arthury Posted July 10, 2006 Author Share #3 Â Posted July 10, 2006 John, Â Thanks for dropping by to comment. Pertaining to the color, I'm sure you can see that the waters on the left side (with more shade) from the bridge and the vegetation is exactly what you described --- deep emerald green. Sadly, the reflection of the blue sky that day with full blast from the sun was the one that made the waters that blue on the right. Â If I color-balance it further to make the waters on the right less blue, the one on the left would be too green unless I selectively modify it. If I selectively do it, it would be too much manipulation for my style. Â Once again, thanks for the comments and the sharp eyes.
