There are many more contributions lacking. Mac users - put your FAQ tips in there as well! What about sensor cracks, cleaning sensors, exposure, focussing, etc. etc.... mboerma Posted July 6, 2010 Share #3 Posted July 6, 2010 Why don't we use the wiki for this? That would be the logical place to collect the wisdom of these fora.

gravastar Posted July 6, 2010 Share #5 Posted July 6, 2010 I suspect the M9 is sufficiently free of problems that there's very little to ask about. So the questions asked are more likely to more general rather than M9 specific. I was going to add an item titled "How large can M9 images be printed?" but it needs some thought since it's similar to asking how long is a piece of string? - it depends on many things . I've printed single frames up to 20" x 30" and when viewed from 12" they are (virtually) indistinguishable from images made by stitching 3x3 M9 frames. (254 dpi, Fuji Crystal Archive Digital Paper Type II, Polielectronica Laserlab printer.) Another topic for inclusion could be M9 profile generation using Gretag Macbeth color patches and/or the Colorchecker Passport. Also best RAW developers for high ISO performance. Bob. jaapv Posted July 6, 2010 Author Share #6 Posted July 6, 2010 I have the impression the wiki is not the first port of call for new M9 owners
mboerma Posted July 6, 2010 Share #7 Posted July 6, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have the impression the wiki is not the first port of call for new M9 owners I assume we could have one question and answer: where can I find the FAQ? In the wiki. The advantage is that the answers can evolve in the wiki over time. If a new version of the firmware is released the answers might change. The wiki is really the best place to do this. I think.
microview Posted July 6, 2010 Share #8 Posted July 6, 2010 Well here's a comment from Wikepedia: "The English plural forums is preferred to the Latin plural fora in normal English usage":D:D:D.
erl Posted July 7, 2010 Share #9 Posted July 7, 2010 Never been a great fan of Wikepedia. Never been sure who the author is. My plural for Forum is still Fora, simply because that is what I learned originally from learned scholars.

msk2193 Posted July 7, 2010 Share #11 Posted July 7, 2010 Jaap, you will be surprised where people look for M9 information. Whenever I post something on my blog with the "M9" in the keywords, readership goes up at least 30-fold!
