stuny Posted July 2, 2010 Share #1 Posted July 2, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) The 500 GTO, just released by Ferrari, and the most potent road-going Ferrari every build. they will only make 599 of them, so place your oders now. This is through the window of The Ferrari Store on Park Avenue at 55th Street in Manhattan. Sadly, they do not permit photos from inside. Just to the left of it you can see the rear of the new 458. the third car, not shown, is the new California folding hard top raodster.
Advertisement Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 Hi stuny, Take a look here The new Goat. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pauledell Posted July 2, 2010 Share #2 Posted July 2, 2010 Stuart, A nice shot of a beautiful car. My only problem is the flare on the lower right side of the picture that extends to the left front wheel. Perhaps you could touch up the wheel with some processing? stuny Posted July 3, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted July 3, 2010 Paul - Thank you. Sadly my post processing skills are limited to overall adjsutments -- You shouild ahve seen it before. My best bet is to return quite early, with less ambient light.
lagrassa Posted July 3, 2010 Share #4 Posted July 3, 2010 When I was there last weekend, I learned also that photos inside the showroom were not allowed. The ambient light and window reflections were so terrible, that I decided not to shoot through the window from the outside since my PP skills are rather rudimentary. stuny Posted July 4, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted July 4, 2010 The only time I could shoot inside was their grand re-opening day (early) before the staff realized the rules.
Noel Holland Posted July 7, 2010 Share #6 Posted July 7, 2010 Paul - Thank you. Sadly my post processing skills are limited to overall adjsutments -- You shouild ahve seen it before. My best bet is to return quite early, with less ambient light. Or better yet fit a flexible rubber lens hood so you can ram the lens up against the glass and seal off any reflections. Wrapping the camera in a dark cloth or coat also works - anything to form a dark light tight tube between the end of the lens and the glass.

daveleo Posted July 8, 2010 Share #8 Posted July 8, 2010 Stuart since you often shoot through glass . . . and i am not 100% sure about this with digital cameras . . . a polarizer should help enormously . . . ?
stuny Posted July 9, 2010 Author Share #9 Posted July 9, 2010 Dave - Thank you. Depending on the angle of the light it could help.
