jplomley Posted July 7, 2010 Author Share #21 Posted July 7, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Ben, Rolo, thanks for the feedback. @ Rolo, once I see a few tilt/shift lenses, the S2 will become a much more appealing system. This will give me some time to save, and perhaps by then the S3 will support a 65MP sensor!
Advertisement Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Hi jplomley, Take a look here A Few from the S2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jplomley Posted July 9, 2010 Author Share #22 Posted July 9, 2010 Well, I tried becoming a subscriber but the Paypal form (in German) does not list Canada in the scroll down menu for "Land". I checked this morning, and there was no USA invasion overnight, so I think we are still a valid country. My fluency in German is nil, and I could not find a way to have the page display in English! Arif Posted July 10, 2010 Share #23 Posted July 10, 2010 Jeff, Great photos. I guess I should learn LR. I was using ACR for my S2 shots but your colors are very good. Let me know when you are around Tokyo, Arif
jplomley Posted July 10, 2010 Author Share #24 Posted July 10, 2010 Many thanks Arif. LR is the RAW converter that Leica has recommended, so I have have just stuck with that. For the colors, I do some modifications in Lab space with the a/b channels to give them that extra "kick".
