marcusperkins Posted July 16, 2010 Share #61 Posted July 16, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Another great image Gregory. I agree with you completely about the unique qualities of film and scanning. For me it seems to enhance the texture of film in a way my prints do not - although I must stress a hand print by a master printer is pretty much impossible to beat. I'm now shooting more film on jobs than ever before - not exclusively, but in addition to digital. The great thing is the clients can spot the difference between the two mediums. Wonderful. Advertisement Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 Hi marcusperkins, Take a look here There's never been a better time than now to shoot film.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
cheewai_m6 Posted July 16, 2010 Share #62 Posted July 16, 2010 i'd like to add my 1 cent worth. it is a great time to shoot film, but really, there NEVER was a bad time to shoot film. at the moment i am able to get film at a very cheap price. i fear this will only last another 3 years maximum, probably only 1.5 or 2 years. after then, i'll have to fork out heaps to buy film. i'll keep on film though, but it's going to hurt.
