euston Posted June 25, 2010 Share #1 Â Posted June 25, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Summer has arrived, the pond is looking lush and I'm still missing the frog that poses on a lily pad whenever I don't have my camera with me. allamande Posted November 20, 2011 Share #4 Â Posted November 20, 2011 I haven't seen this in its first round. I am glad it is resurrected. And, now it's about dreams of summer. The shimmering light and delicate textures along with sweet colors...hit the spot on a rainy, gloomy, gray Southern California day. Â Ece
pauledell Posted November 21, 2011 Share #5 Â Posted November 21, 2011 Euston, Â A lovely shot with the vivid colors and selective focus. Did you see any bullfrogs on the water lilies? There's a pond in my favorite state park that is just like that. Â Paul
euston Posted November 21, 2011 Author Share #6  Posted November 21, 2011 Thank you for finding this long lost photo, Henry. I see I never thanked Stuart for his nice comments. Well, I do so now and you too Leica Dao, Henry, Ece and Paul. Thank you all!  Paul, our pond is a magnet for frogs and they spawn prodigiously in the early Spring. They are usually camera-shy but in the Spring their minds are on other things and it’s easy to snap them. Here’s a non-Leica photo of them at spawning time - Zenfolio | Pond life
