Advertisement Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Hi clinchico, Take a look here Hosta. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
daveleo Posted June 23, 2010 Share #2 Posted June 23, 2010 Herb, this is one of the better photos of a hosta flower . . . the flowers themselves are not very popular around here . . . hostas are grown for their foliage, and lots of people - like me - cut the flower stems off before they bloom . . . and never enjoy the flowers. nice shot. stuny Posted June 23, 2010 Share #3 Posted June 23, 2010 herb - Lovely and charming. I don't think I've ever seen these. What is their size?
clinchico Posted June 23, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted June 23, 2010 Thank you for your comments Dave and Stuart. Hostas here come in a variety of colours we happen to have the white once. Stuart the blossoms are roughly an inch long and Dave they are not ugly flowers by no means. Herb

elansprint72 Posted June 24, 2010 Share #7 Posted June 24, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Yours are some way ahead of mine, which I expect will open next week, we have about fifteen flower heads this year, never seen more than three before (on the same plant). I like the angle you have used here.
