That's not true. If you read the instruction manual and you will see this: Â Â "If you wish to switch the camera on directly to review mode, you can do so by keeping the PLAY button pressed while turning on the main switch." Â I discovered - maybe that is nothing new besides for me - that if you do not remove the lens cap and switch directly into the review mode the lens remains collapsed and save.
